LUPIN
How do I heat the packs?
You use your microwave to heat the pack, ensuring the microwave plate is clean of any leftover debris. Never heat without supervision.
What wattage microwave / does time differ?
Microwave for 60 seconds (based on 900W) - Test and 15-20 seconds until it feels comfortable warm on the skin.
Can you wash the bag?
Hand washable in cold water only. Use mild detergent. Line dry out of direct sunlight.
DO NOT SOAK. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.
What is the difference between Lupin and Wheat?
Lupin seeds are lighter in weight than wheat, which is traditionally used for heat bags. When heated over time, wheat heat bags develop a “cooked” odour.
Lupin filled bags mould comfortably to the body and retains heat 30% longer than wheat.
- Lupin is allergy sensitive.
- Lupins are odour free.
- Lupins are also 30% lighter in weight.
- Lupins are not treated with chemicals or fungicides.
- Lupins have very little moisture so you won’t get the damp feeling from you heat pack like wheat.
- Lupin is Gluten free.
Can I use this for cold therapy? / How do I cool the pack?
Place the lupin pack in a plastic bag and in the freezer for 30 minutes. The bag should feel comfortably cool on the skin, not too cold to keep on the skin.
What is Lupin?
Lupins are legumes packed with protein and fibre. They can be ground and used as a gluten-free flour. Legumes are good sources of protein. Traditionally lupins were grown in Australia as a rotation crop (in between planting more valued corn, canola, wheat or oats) to enrich the soil with nitrogen.

DO NOT APPLY DIRECTLY ON THE SKIN. Apply the patch on the underside of your clothing between a layer.
What do I do with the product when I’m finished?
Dispose of the used product in a non combustible garbage bin.
How do I heat the Live Well Health Essentials Heat Patch up?
Only open pack when ready to use.
- Open outer packet – patch begins heating when exposed to air.
- Remove backing stickers from patch.
- Apply sticky side to underclothing at area which requires treatment and press firmly.

Can I use heat therapy on my children?
Direct heat therapy is not recommended unsupervised on children.
Will the Live Well Health Essentials Heat Patch be good for my arthritis?
Applying a heat patch/ pack to your problem area can relieve symptoms of arthritis. Live Well Health Essentials Heat Patches are not recommended for Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Can I use the Live Well Health Essentials Heat Patches when hiking?
Live Well Health Essentials Heat Patches heat on their own. Perfect for out and about and on the go.
Can I reuse the Live Well Health Essentials Heat Patches?
No. The Live Well Health Essentials Heat Patches are single use.
Can I put the Live Well Health Essentials Patch anywhere on my body?
You can place any shape Live Well Health Essentials patch on any position of the body you feel comfortable. Ensuring the patch is not directly applied to the skin.
